Senior Director of Innovation, Levi Strauss & Co.
Bart Sights is the Senior Director, Technical Innovation at Levi Strauss & Co. In his role, Mr. Sights leads and manages the Company’s Eureka Lab, the regional development centers, and the Innovation Team. He facilitates and oversees the creative, technical, conceptual, and seasonal development of fits, finishes, fabric, and prints for the Company’s global brands.
A denim finishing enthusiast and leading expert on the subject, Mr. Sights previously provided independent technical and creative services to premium denim brands and manufacturers.
He draws his inspiration from heritage, authenticity, and the self-worn phenomenon, studying the science of product development itself, and researching consilient and non-obvious networks.
Mr. Sights holds a Bachelor of Arts from Centre College, Kentucky and has resided in such international cities as Bangalore, Istanbul and New York, before his move to San Francisco to open and lead the Levi Strauss & Co. Eureka Lab.
