What does the GreenScreen Practitioner course include?

  • Two course components:
  • Advanced Topics course*, including:
    • 12 hours of live, interactive, participatory web-based instruction with leading toxicologists;
    • Applied assignments that each participant presents and discusses with the teaching team and class; and
    • Ample opportunity for questions and answers
  • Practicum:
    • Two comprehensive GreenScreen assessments on chemicals of your choice must be completed.
      • The first assessment is completed in sections, concurrent with class topics.
      • The second assessment is completed independently.
    • Both assessments are carefully reviewed, with detailed feedback provided by our expert toxicologists and trainers.
  • Experience evaluating and using a wide variety of data sources to develop robust hazard assessments
  • Expert one-on-one coaching
  • Small workshop format
  • Varied perspectives from a teaching team of some of the most experienced GreenScreen practitioners in the world.

* The Advanced Topics course may be taken without the Practicum, but participants choosing this option are not eligible to become Authorized GreenScreen Practitioners.

GreenScreen is an elegant system, and it is one bright light in the sea of misinformation and confusion. I think people who have trained in the Practitioner Program will be able to impress on others the need to be deliberate and thorough and serious about chemical hazard assessment to yield the transformation necessary.Catherine Bobenhausen, Vidaris, Inc.
