Dr. Turner began her career providing environmental consulting services to clients in a wide range of industries, with a focus on health risk assessment and air quality regulatory compliance. After completing her doctoral studies, Dr. Turner was a professor and researcher within UCLA’s School of Public Health, leading studies examining the adverse impacts of environmental exposures on perinatal development and child health. Before starting her consultancy, Loop Environmental, she worked for the sustainability data management firm Source Intelligence, where she designed and led supply chain compliance programs focused on conflict minerals and restricted substances. She also provided environmental, health and safety consulting services, including management systems development and auditing. Dr. Turner obtained a doctorate degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, a MS in Environmental Health Sciences, and a BS in Geography/Ecosystems, all from UCLA. She also holds a Certificate in Sustainable Business Practices from UCSD.
