We believe consumers should have information about the chemicals in the products they buy. Clean Production Action sent out questionnaires to leading companies asking them about their chemical policy while partner groups collected vacuum dust from households in seven states. We wanted to find out if companies and retailers had put in measures to avoid high risk, hazardous chemical use in their products
